Privacy
The site is built to need as little of your data as possible. Here is what that means in practice.
The finder runs in your browser
When you answer the questions, the estimate is worked out on your device. Your room size, window type and the rest are not sent to a server or stored anywhere. Refresh the page and they are gone.
Analytics
There are no advertising trackers. Fonts are self-hosted, so the site does not call Google Fonts or hand your IP address to a font provider on every visit.
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help and where people get stuck. It sets cookies only after you accept the short banner; decline and it never loads. To change your mind later, clear this site's storage in your browser and the banner returns.
Links to other sites
When you click a buy button, you leave PortableAC.eu and land on the retailer's or maker's own site, which has its own privacy policy and its own cookies. Read their policy for how they handle your data once you are there.
Hosting
The site is served as static files. The host keeps standard server logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are not used to build a profile of you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights over any personal data a service holds about you. Because the finder stores nothing and the site sets no tracking cookies without your consent, there is very little to hold. If that changes, this page will change with it and say what is collected and why.
